Alpine Ambassadors-Hosted Rock Trips - Squamish

This is an Alpine Ambassadors hosted trip intended to develop skills for our top volunteers. This trip will provide participants with a chance to top rope and lead single pitch routes at various crags around Squamish. Participants will be encouraged to top rope, mock lead, and redpoint as a means of climbing progression.

This trip requires an application. The application period will close April 22nd.

This clinic is designed to provide climbing growth and mentorship for Mountaineers volunteers, beyond what typical Mountaineers courses can provide. Mentors will be from the Mountaineers Alpine Ambassador program which encompasses all Mountaineers Branches. 

The intended schedule is: Wednesday travel day, Thursday/Friday crag days, Saturday rest/free day, Sunday/Monday crag days.  Monday will be a shorter crag day to facilitate return travel.

Lodging is provided at Mamquam River Camp Ground Wednesday night 7/22 - Sunday night 7/26.

 



Folks can meet up Wednesday night at Mamquam campground or the following morning before we head to the crag.
