At the Mountaineers we believe that everyone has the potential for outdoor leadership. For over a century our community has been led and shaped by volunteer leaders. The South Sound Leadership Conference both celebrates that legacy and supports the continued growth of current and aspiring leaders.
The Mountaineers South Sound Leadership Conference is a one-day conference at the Tacoma Program Center. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to connect with other leaders and to hear from epic presenters. We have carefully curated a lineup of both esteemed outdoor professionals and seasoned leaders from within The Mountaineers. A series of interactive sessions will explore the many facets of leadership – from risk management to conservation and advocacy, and mental health.
All are welcome to attend! Registration for the Leadership Conference includes participation in a variety of speaker sessions, a catered lunch, and Mountaineers swag!
Pastries, snacks, coffee, and tea will be available during morning registration. Catered lunch will be provided during the lunch hour.
