Teen Clubs Volunteering

Information for Volunteers for Year Round Teen Clubs Programs.

**Note: You must complete and pass the Qualified Youth Leader General Training before you will be eligible to receive the QYL: Teen Programs Badge.**

Information on Teen CLub Programs

Mountaineers Adventure Club | Ages 14–18
Offered in the Seattle, and Tacoma branches, youth meet monthly and go on a wide variety of outdoor trips, including hiking, rock climbing, skiing, rafting, camping, and mountaineering. Led by its members and mentored by adults, this program is our pinnacle outdoor leadership program. Join today to meet new friends, develop new skills, and become a teacher and mentor for other youth. 

QYL: Teen clubs badge

Leaders working with Year Round Teen Clubs Programs are required to have both:

    • Qualified Youth Leader Badge

AND

    • QYL: Teen Clubs Skill Badge

How to get the QYL: Teen clubs Badge

Volunteers must be enrolled in the Qualified Youth Leader Training Course, and complete the QYL: Teen Clubs training   in that course. After completing the training you must score at least 80% on the quiz at the end of the training.
