**Note: You must complete and pass the Qualified Youth Leader General Training before you will be eligible to receive the Qualified Youth Leader: Family Programs Badge.**
Whether you're already an adventure enthusiast wanting to engage the rest of your family outside, or you are completely new to the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, The Mountaineers can help you enjoy our natural world with your kids in a safe and fun environment.
Who needs a QYL: Family Programs badge?
Leaders running programs specifically designed for participating families. For youth to be able to participate in these programs, we require at least (1) Leader on the roster to have both:
How to get the QYL: Family programs Badge
Volunteers must complete the QYL: Family Programs online training. After completing the training you must score at least 80% on the quiz at the end of the training.
