Mountaineers Adventure Club
This badge represents current participation in the year-round Mountaineers Adventure Club (MAC) for youth aged 14-19. MAC participants are in charge of planning single-day outings as well as week-long camping trips.
DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS
MAC participants get to plan their own adventures, which may include:
- Hiking
- Camping
- Rock Climbing
- Whitewater River Rafting
- Snow-cave camping
- Cross-country skiing
- Mountaineering
WHAT DOES THIS BADGE ALLOW ME TO DO?
This badge allows youth to sign up for and participate in all MAC meetings, skills days, and trips for which they have met the prerequisites.
HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
Youth must be Mountaineers members in order to participate. New MAC members may join in either September or January. More information can be found on the Mountaineers Adventure Club website.
