Scramble Leader Emeritus

Badge

Scramble Leader Emeritus

This badge recognizes the volunteer contributions of past Scramble Leaders.

SCOPE - WHAT DOES THIS BADGE ALLOW ME TO DO?

This badge recognizes a past scope of practice leading participants on scrambles, but does not indicate a current authority to lead Mountaineers scrambles.

HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?

To receive the Scramble Leader Emeritus badge, a volunteer must have earned the Alpine Scramble Leader badge. The Alpine Scramble Leader badge expires after three years of inactivity as a scramble leader. It can be renewed at any time, but The Mountaineers may require that scramble leaders returning after more than three years away go through reviews and/or refreshers to ensure they are up to date on current practices.

The Scramble Leader Emeritus badge is awarded to those whose Scramble Leader status has expired, and it is a lifetime badge.
