The holder of this badge can instruct for courses and activities organized by the Meany Lodge Ski School.
DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS
The holder of this badge has demonstrated the ability to coach skiers and/or snowboarders to improve their skills and enjoyment on the slope. This includes the ability to guide a student through a progression; perform movement analysis; and provide coaching, cues, and support.
HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
This badge is awarded by the Meany Ski School Director or their delegate to individuals who have successfully completed a Ski Instructor training day. Email wintersnowports@meanylodge.org to express interest and arrange a training day, or to describe your equivalent experience. Training days are often held between December 27 and January 1.
