Sea Kayaking Scavenger Hunt

The purpose of this badge is to recognize community spirit, encourage kayaking to a variety of locations, promote attendance at social events, engage paddlers in the badge acquisition process, and assemble a collection of fun kayak-themed photos.

HOW TO OBTAIN

You must submit a total of 20 photos selected from the options below and there must be at least three photos from each of the five categories. 

  • You must be visible in each photo.
  • All photos must be taken on a Mountaineers sea kayaking trip or at a Mountaineers branch activity.
  • Multiple photos may be obtained at a single event or activity but the same photo cannot be used multiple times.

There are two necessary steps to earn this badge: document your activities/photos, then alert the Seattle Sea Kayaking Committee of your request.

Apply for the badge

Report your completion to the committee by filling out our badge application form. To complete the form, you will need:

  • A link to your profile
  • The requisite (digital) photos for upload
  • Links to the activities when the photos were obtained

After you submit the form, please alert the current Seattle Sea Kayaking Committee Chair, whose contact information can be found on the committee webpage.
