The 2025 Key Leader badge recognizes volunteers who met the following criteria during the 2024-2025 fiscal year (October 1, 2024-September 30, 2025): 10+ trips, field trips, and/or days (new for 2025) as
- Primary Leader
- Co-Leader
- Mentored Leader
- Assistant Leader
This level of involvement indicates a true dedication to the mission of The Mountaineers, which:

HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
To receive the 2025 badge, meet the following criteria between October 2024 and September 2025: 10+ trips, field trips, and/or days (new for 2025) led as Primary Leader, Co-Leader, Mentored Leader, or Assistant Leader.
Key Leader badges are assigned in October and November 2025 for the prior fiscal year.
