About the Award
Earn a pin to wear and a badge for your profile for climbing eight of classic and challenging peaks in the North Cascades. This is one of our shorter awards lists, but it ranks high on the difficulty scale. Every one of these peaks is a serious technical mountaineering challenge - all have serious glacier travel, and 4th or 5th class rock climbing. Many of them have a long approach through deep wilderness. Anyone who has completed this list can be considered a grizzled veteran of Washington's North Cascades.

How to Obtain
Climb all of the peaks while a current member of The Mountaineers. Climbs must be made in accordance with the Climbing Code. The climbs can be private trips and with non-Mountaineers team members. You may only climb a maximum of three peaks per year towards this peak pin.
