Mountaineers Adventure Club (MAC) is a year-round course, focused on teaching climbing and backcountry skills to teens age 14-18. Teens meet monthly to plan trips and practice skills, and then we head outdoors for 1-2 weekend trips per month. Teens have the opportunity to choose and plan their own trips, and decide their goals for the year. We will plan out the year's worth of trips at the first meeting in September. Activities include mountaineering, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hiking and backpacking, snowshoeing, snow camping, cycling, and more.

Members are not required to have any prior experience before joining - we will teach the skills necessary to participate.  The Mountaineers can provide most gear needed to participate in these activities.

The cost to participate is $75 the first month, and $45 per month starting in the second month after joining.

Financial assistance is available based on need. Please don't hesitate to apply.
