Pt. Defiance Day - Point Defiance Park

On Friday, we will meet at Pt. Defiance Park. Drop-off will be at 8:30am at the "Rustic Picnic Area" off 5-mile drive, where there is a small parking lot on the right and room for cars to pull off. It is a couple hundred yards past the playground, and just before you reach the Rhododendron Garden.

 We will spend the morning exploring the park with a nature scavenger hunt, enjoy a picnic lunch, and then head down to Owen Beach for games, camp awards, and playing at the beach.

Pick-up will be at Owen Beach at 4:30pm.

Please send your camper with a large water bottle, lunch and snacks, sunscreen, appropriate shoes for hiking. Optional: swimsuit and water shoes.
