Pool Session - Curtis Aquatic Center

Opportunity to practice wet exits and self - and partner rescues in a warm, safe environment.

We will have a brief demonstration of wet exits and rescues before splitting into our groups to optimize our time in the pool.  Students should dress to remain in the pool for the full two hours. 

The pool day will be split into 4 two hour sessions, but this could be adjusted slightly based on attendance. We have the pool from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Students will be assigned to a session with similarly-sized (by height and weight) classmates in the classroom on Sunday, April 6th. Please be dressed and ready to begin at the start time of your session. 

Boats and safety equipment will be provided.

Kayaks, paddles PFD's and sprayskirts will be provided.

Please dress warmly, you will need shorts and a long sleeve shirt over your swimsuit or a wet suit, full or half.
