This is one of my favorite PNW trails. The gain is very mild as we follow the Middle Fork Snoqualmie. There is an abundance of green in this landscape and possible views of Garfield Mountain and other ridges. We will go at an easy pace (1.5 - 2 mph) with plenty of rest breaks as needed. Bring snacks/lunch and water. Dress for your comfort with the day's predicted temps. Hiking poles and sturdy waterproof boots are recommended.
For safety, we will all hike as a group so please assess beforehand whether this distance/elevation gain/pace will suit you before registering.
My style: I am curious, love to be wowed by Nature and adventurous. As a leader, my style is more relaxed stopping to be in wonder, enjoy the views, enjoy any flowers blooming, keeping an eye out for critters and enjoying how we each respond to the awe presenting itself. I value the journey as much as the destination and strive to foster hiking as a wholistic experience (body, mind and spirit).
We will meet at the Middle Fork Snoqualmie trailhead at 8:15am and begin hiking at 8:30am. There is an overflow parking lot on the right before the main entrance if needed
Restroom is available at the trailhead
You will need an America the Beautiful or Northwest Forest Pass
