This 10 mile out and back hike begins at the Carbon River entrance to Mt. Rainier Park. The first 3 miles of our trek will take us along the closed section of Road that leads into the park, now called the Carbon River Trail. You will enjoy luscious old growth forest as the trail meanders along the river. At 3 miles, gently ascend some of the best trail tread in the Park to Ranger Falls and pristine Green Lake. We'll break for lunch at the lake before heading back to our vehicles.
