Hike through giant rhododendron to the Tubal Cain mine site, then climb to Buckhorn Ridge for views of the surrounding peaks. We will wander around the ridge and go as far as Marmot Pass before turning around. Will be following trip reports for snow melt out.

there is at least one water crossing across copper creek-some choose wading, some choose log walking. (Easy water crossing)

I made a camping reservation squirm bay sp #86 6/24-6/25 that can accommodate up to 8 people and 2 tents. ( I have a mattress set up in my car-so not even using the tent pad) talk to me if you want to share this spot.

please be realistic about your fitness to do a 15-16 mile hike with the possibility of snow on trail, before signing up.

Sequim bay state park. We will need to get an early start for this long hike (and the road is long and slow to trailhead)
