Our second trip up from the North side will be steeper than the South side, gaining 1000 feet of elevation in a mile, a great workout guaranteed to get your heart rate up, and breathing hard.

In addition to the items listed under the required gear tab, trekking poles will be very useful for the steeper sections of the trail. Shoes or boots  with good traction will be needed.

Bring a lunch for our second trip to the summit. I estimate we will be back to the cars by 2 pm.

Let's have our gear on and ready to go at 9:30 am. We will meet at the South Trail head  parking lot off Hyw 410 between Buckley and Enumclaw
