We will follow this lovely trail clockwise which gives us more elevation and a nice downhill along Big Creek as we finish our loop. Before completing the loop, if conditions allow, we will venture up to a nice viewpoint of Mt. Ellinor.

We will go at an easy pace (1.5 - 2.5 mph) with plenty of rest breaks as needed. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Dress for your comfort with the day's predicted temps. Hiking poles and sturdy waterproof boots are recommended.

For safety, we will all hike as a group so please assess beforehand whether this distance/elevation gain/pace will suit you before registering.

My style: I am curious, love to be wowed by Nature and adventure. As a leader, my style is more relaxed stopping to be in wonder, enjoy the views, enjoy any flowers blooming, keeping an eye out for critters and enjoying how we each respond to the awe presenting itself. I value the journey as much as the destination and strive to foster hiking as a wholistic experience (body, mind and spirit).

More information will be provided in the Hello Hiker email

We will meet at 8:30am at the Big Creek Campground parking lot and begin hiking at 8:45am. Restrooms are available in the campground. Note there is limited cell service.
