A moderate hike within MRNP to a historic fire lookout, with excellent mountain views on a clear day. 

8:30 AM: Gobblers Knob/Golden Lakes Trailhead. 

Note: this is inside MRNP. Weekend traffic at the park entrance can be unpredictable during the summer: please allow extra time for bottlenecks at the park entrance.
