Due to the need for a timed entry permit for the White River entrance, this will be an early start hike.

We will go at an easy pace (1.5 - 2 mph) with plenty of rest breaks as needed. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Dress for your comfort with the day's predicted temps. Hiking poles and sturdy boots are recommended.

For safety, we will all hike as a group so please assess beforehand whether this distance/elevation gain/pace will suit you before registering.

My style: I am curious, love to be wowed by Nature and adventurous. As a leader, my style is more relaxed stopping to be in wonder, enjoy the views, enjoy any flowers blooming, keeping an eye out for critters and enjoying how we each respond to the awe presenting itself. I value the journey as much as the destination and strive to foster hiking as a wholistic experience (body, mind and spirit).

Calling all early risers :) We will meet at the bathrooms just on the other side of the White River Wilderness information Center at 6:45am. After gathering, we will make our way to the Sunrise Point parking area to begin our hike.
