Friday: Backpack to Silver Lakes, camp around the lake (5.3 mi/2756’)
Saturday: Backpack up to Mt Townend for Lunch, then down to the cars (8.1 mi/1468’)

Upper Mt Townend Trailhead
In Buckhorn Wilderness, so no permits required
Bear Canister, Ursack or hanging bag required
