This hike is intended for those already in shape and wish to maintain that conditioning over the winter. Please have some recent experience that will allow you to have fun on this hike.
Join me to explore West Tiger Mountain 2 & 3. After brief introductions at the trailhead, we will hike the West Tiger #3 trail. The West Tiger #3 trail is a gradual climb up and then gets steeper in the last half mile leading towards the summit. During a clear day there are views of Seattle and Mount Rainier. Once we make it to West Tiger #3, we will then hike over to West Tiger #2. We will plan to take a 20-minute break on West Tiger #2. We will hike slower going up and faster coming down based on the pace of the group. We will hike rain or shine, unless the weather is unsafe. Remember to bring your microspikes.
We will meet at West Tiger TH at 8:30AM. Discover Pass required.
