• Mitigating the impact of light pollution
• Techniques for noise reduction

If weather conditions are favorable, each session will conclude with a practical photography session outdoors at the Seattle Program Center.

No specialized equipment is necessary for participation. The course primarily emphasizes methods that utilize mobile phones, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and tripods. An overview of more sophisticated equipment will also be provided for those interested in advancing their skills.
