The 2.5 hr. workshop provides experienced hikers or backpackers information they need to become an effective hike or backpack leader for the Mountaineers.  This workshop is a pre-requisite (along with a mentor hike/backpack and hiking committee approval) to becoming an official hike or backpack leader for the club.
