Seattle Explorers & Jr. MAC Climbing - Keechelus Ridge Crag

A fun cragging day before the rain sets in

  • Crag Rock Climb
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 2.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 400 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 4,800 ft
  • 9:00AM: Meet at the Gold Creek Sno-Park
  • We will caravan up to the Keechelus Ridge Parking; the forest service roads can be a little confusing to follow. If we can carpool this last distance, fewer cars at the Keechelus Ridge Parking would be preferred since the lot is small.

10:30AM: Arrive at the West Wall and climb!

Weather permitting, Explorers & Jr. MACers will spend the day climbing outdoors! Depending on what the weather is doing we may have to modify this trip to a lower elevation crag or possibly switch to a hike. October can be great for climbing, or it can be raining, so we'll just have to wait and see.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: We will be recreating on the lands of the Pacific Northwest Indian Tribes, including the Snoqualmie, who live here and steward these lands and waters as they have since time immemorial.
