Mini Mountaineers Meet Up - Magnuson Park

The Mini Mountaineers is a simple way to create a community of families working together in the effort of inspiring a love for the outdoors in the future stewards of our planet. Join your little one on an exploration of nature and meet like-minded outdoorsy families!

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

The second Tuesday of each month we host a meet up at a Seattle hiking trail. This month we will be doing a nature walk through Magnuson Park. Not only is it the home to The Mountaineers, Magnuson Park is the second largest park in Seattle! Join us for a walk along the coastline including bird watching, rock skipping, and leaf crunching.

Please meet at the picnic tables near parking lot E4 at 10am. See you there!

P.S. Make sure to register by November 9th.

ABOUT MINI MOUNTAINEERS:

Mini Mountaineers is designed to get kiddos ages 2-5 and an accompanying adult interacting with nature together, fostering a love for the outdoors in the next generation. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters, friends...let us do the planning to get you and your little one outside together with fellow outdoorsy families!

We host two events a month during the school year, a meet up for a nature walk and a hands on nature-based activity at the Seattle Program Center.
