Summer Camp - Water Week 1

A fun-filled camp of water-based activities including rafting, kayaking, and more!

Get out your swimsuits and goggles, we're diving into camp with a splash!

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

Water Week features a field trip to the Outdoor Activities Center in Index to go white water rafting down the Skykomish River. We'll join OAC's team of guides on a splashtastic Class 2 stretch of river. Campers will raft either Wednesday or Thursday depending on their camp group. (Be prepared to pick your camper up late on their field trip day due to the nature of this activity.)

 Campers will also have the chance to kayak on Lake Washington during the week. Can't wait to see you out on the water!

LOGISTICS:

  • Registration Lottery runs in January
  • Open enrollment begins February 2
  • Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00  
  • Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00 
  • AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
  • PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Spaces limited for the Thursday Night Lock-in
  • Family Friday (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
  • *Please note: all outdoor activities are weather and condition dependent*

Scholarships are available for summer camp. We recommend applying for a scholarship at least two weeks before you plan on enrolling.
