Summer Camp - Ropes and Rocks Week 1

Ready to climb? Ready to swim, learn outdoor skills, and hike? Most importantly...are you ready to ROCK? Then this is the week of camp is for you!

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip  and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

During Ropes and Rocks Week 1, campers will have the opportunity to try a variety of climbing techniques including bouldering and top roping. The younger campers (ages 6-8) will take a field trip to Bridal Veil Falls on Wednesday.  The older campers (9+) will take a field trip to the outdoor climbing area at Exit 38 on Thursday. It'll be a great way to put together all the climbing skills they learn during the week.

LOGISTICS:

• Registration Lottery opens in January 
• Open enrollment begins February 3
• Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00
• Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00
• AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
• PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
• Spaces limited for the Thursday Night Lock-in
• Family Friday (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
