Foothills Summer Camp - Wilderness Discovery Week

A fun-filled camp week featuring lots of exploration of the local wilderness!

Ready to learn what plants and animals live in our neighborhoods? Interested in  learning to navigate and keep yourself safe in the outdoors? Join us for Wilderness Discovery Week!

Campers ages 6-10 are invited to come to a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of exploring the local area, basic outdoor skills, low impact recreational practices, crafts, and swimming! Additionally, every week has a field trip, special activity, and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

During Wilderness Discovery Week, campers will have the opportunity to build all of the basic outdoor skills needed to recreate responsibly including navigation, wilderness first aid, plant identification, water safety, and more! This week will feature a field trip to Tiger Mountain.
