Seattle Pathfinders Hike - Twin Falls (Olallie State Park)

Join us for a day of hiking!

  • Easy
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 3.8 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 750 ft

About your leader: I'm Stephanie, parent to a MAC teenager, and a youth clubs volunteer hike leader. I often bring my large and friendly senior golden retriever, Zoe, on hikes. If you or your child is allergic or in any way opposed to having a dog along, please let me know! I'm happy to leave her at home.

A couple of notes on the hike: This hike, as planned, will begin at the Twin Falls trailhead, meandering adjacent to the South Fork Snoqualmie River, and eventually passes by both Lower and Upper Twin Falls. The plan is to continue on up to the Palouse to Cascades Trail, and then turn around, retracing our route back to the trailhead. The route covers approximately 3.8 miles with a moderate elevation gain of 750'. Depending on kids' endurance and enthusiasm, we can optionally turn around at Upper Twin Falls, which would shorten the route to approximately 2.5 miles.

The Pathfinders will spend the day hiking!
