Nomads - Seattle - 2022

Youth Program

Nomads

Nomads is a year round program for youth ages 8–9.

THE CLUB

The program will provide the opportunity for Nomads to get outside once a month with their parents or independently. The program is designed to expose youth to a variety of outdoor activities, allowing them to have fun exploring in nature! The kids will get the opportunity to climb, hike, paddle, xc ski, and explore. While both parents/guardians are not required to attend outings, a parent/guardian chaperone support is required for all trips. This is a great opportunity for you to get outside with your Nomads!

We also offer climbing skills sessions and leadership opportunities for the parents! Starting this year, parents will have the opportunity to take part in a climbing skills series, learning what it takes to set up and take down ropes from the top of a climb. We will also be offering a leadership series, providing the tools and guidance in planning and leading trips for the clubs.

PRICING

Nomads membership is $1000 for families joining in October. Students joining in the winter will be prorated. Members will have the option of paying up front or paying the annual fee in a series of installments. This is an annual club.

To join, members must pay the 1st of 4 installments (non-refundable) by October 31. They do so by using this page to register. Be aware that the price displayed on this page is the price of the 1st installment and that the program costs $1000. Interested members will have the opportunity to join in on at least one meeting and trip before paying and committing.

We offer financial assistance! To apply for financial assistance click here.
