Practice snow camping skills and test out your layering system. Participants have the option of sleeping in a tent or attempting to dig and sleep in a snow cave for the night (bring a tent as a backup just in case).

  • Pack cover or plastic bag for water repellence
  • Wool/synthetic socks (at least three pairs)

  • Waterproof shell (jacket and pants, breathable, with a hood on the jacket)
