Carpool Link

This is a dry tooling session for the youth of Seattle Mountaineers Youth Club (MAC).

Drytool movements will be covered first and then participants will top rope routes at Wayne's World.

We will be climbing rain or shine, so please pack sufficient layers to remain comfortable while standing in the rain.  While we will have gear to share, please do your best to pack the following:

  • Rope
  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Eye Protection
  • Ice Tools
  • Harness
  • Belay Device
  • Climbing shoes/boots
  • Crampons (monopoint configuration) are not required, but encouraged.  Boots (full shank mountaineering boots) and crampons will be more comfortable than rock climbing shoes if it is raining.  They will also grip the rock better.
