Youth activity: Mountaineers Adventure Club
Seattle MAC Conditioning Hike - Youth Trip
We'll be hiking Rattle Snake mountain from Snoqualmie Point Park. Meet at the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail Parking Lot. We have a couple hiking options. The simplest is an out and back hike heading up to Grand Prospect and then onward to the Middle Peak or Windy Landing as time allows. The more complicated option is a through hike continuing on past Rattle Snake Ledge to Rattle Snake Lake. We would need to arrange a car shuttle to do the through hike. Both options will be a little over 10 miles and 2500-3000 feet of elevation. I would expect to find snow near the top, so bring micro-spikes and gaters. If the snow gets too deep we'll turn back.
