Youth activity: Mountaineers Adventure Club

Seattle MAC Conditioning Hike - Tiger Mountain Trail

Out and back hike on the Tiger Mountain Trail through a mossy coniferous forest with large ferns to Murat’s hiking bridge. This is a conditioning hike to help prepare and train for backpack trips, glacier climbs, alpine rock climbs, etc.

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 5.2 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,167 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 1,589 ft
  • Pace: 2.5 mph

This hike is intended to be a shake-out as we head into Spring, and help us build up to the longer/steeper hikes ahead.

(Note: this one hike alone does not earn you the Conditioning Hike Series badge - but I was unable to remove that from the trip profile.)

Meet at the High Point Trailhead fully geared up and ready to hike at 9 a.m. We recommend getting their early to secure a parking space; carpool if possible. Discovery Pass required!
