Seattle MAC Conditioning Hike - Granite Creek Trail

A conditioning hike to help prepare and train for backpack trips, longer backpack trips, glacier climbs, alpine rock climbs, etc. Thru-hike from the Granite Creek Trailhead to the Ira Spring Trailhead via Thompson Lake with key exchange. It's 13.6 miles one-way with 5,300 feet of elevation gain including side trip to summit of Mount Defiance (5,582 ft).

This is a key exchange hike.  We will break into two groups and each will start at one end of the trail.  We'll exchange keys along the way and then meet again afterwards at a nearby eatery.
