6am at Blue Lake Trailhead.
1 day climb of S Early Winter Spire - Participants should consider coming up the day before and camping with the group at Lone Fir or Klipchuck campgrounds. Details will be planned closer to the date of the climb.
Prerequisites:
For alpine rock climbs:
Skills/workshops: Multi-pitch systems, belay escape, rappelling, lead climbing / lead belaying
Other courses/trips: Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course/badge, Leavenworth Multi-Pitch trip / successful multi-pitch climb, Summer Trip / successful muti-pitch climb there
If glacier climb: In addition to all of the above: Crevasse rescue workshop, glacier climbing fundamentals (at least 2), Snow 1, Snow 2
In addition the technical skills described above, participants joining this trip may be asked to describe the physical preparations they have undertaken - this may include conditioning hikes, other easier climbs, weekly training routines, etc.
