FRIDAY APRIL 29
- 3–8PM: Arrive at camp; meet as pod to make sure everyone is on the same page for Saturday's plans
SUNDAY MAY 1
- 4PM: Return to cars (can return earlier); debrief; drive home

- Parking: Discover Pass required at Deception Pass State Park (camping)
- Guests: If spots are still available one week prior to the trip, email Carl (carlm@mountaineers.org) to request that a friend or sibling be able to join.

CLIMBING GEAR CHECKOUT:
- Wed 4/27, before or after JrMAC meeting 6-8pm
- by appointment with Tom, afternoons 4/28-4/29
CLIMBING GEAR RETURN:
- TBD, will let you know during the trip and in a follow-up email
CLOTHES: PACK FOR WARM CONDITIONS DURING THE DAY
- Clothes for adventuring during the day (layers)
- Clothes for at camp in the evening (slightly warmer because it’ll cool down in the evening)
- Sun Protection: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, sun shirt, etc.
- Day pack
- Hiking Boots
- Camp Shoes (optional)
CAMPING ITEMS:
- Personal mess kit including: plate/bowl, utensils, cup
- Camp chair
- Tent (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
- Sleeping bag/pad (can be borrowed from the Mountaineers with advance notice)
- Pillow (we’re car camping; might as well be comfy!)
- Toiletries (restrooms available at campsite)
- Headlamp/flashlight with extra batteries
- Face mask(s)
- Hand Sanitizer
FOOD FOR YOURSELF/FAMILY (OR GROUP MEALS):
- Breakfast: (x1)
- Lunch: (x2)
- Dinner: (x1)
- Snacks: enough for both Saturday and Sunday
- Water: 2 liters per person per day minimum
