Vet aspiring snowshoe leaders for potential award of a Basic Snowshoe Leader badge.

During the trip we will be doing the following:
 
1.Navigation Exercise: 
Intentionally go off-route (under controlled conditions) to assess aspiring leaders' ability to:
 - Recognize they are off-trail.
 - Use map/compass/GPS (if applicable) to navigate back or specified location.
 - Maintain calm and positive demeanor.
Communicate effectively with the "group" (other aspiring leaders acting as participants, taking turns leading)
 
2. Observation of leadership qualities: Decision-making, communication, problem-solving, group management.

We will carpool to the Pass.

Let's all meet at Tibbetts Valley Park and Ride by 6:30 am.
