In this Lecture we will discuss:
- How to construct an Igloo, using a hybrid technique (developed here in the PNW)
- Necessary Igloo construction equipment (minimal)
- How to identify safe campsites
- Proper clothing needs while building and after
- Review of sleep systems
- Kitchen setups and cooking issues
- Shared group gear
- Food Storage requirements (Rainier NP)
- Water needs
Be ready to take notes and ask questions.
