Meet 8:00 AM at the south end of Golden Gardens at the boat launch (next to the Little Coney restaurant) to help unload Kayaks and pick up your dry suits and other equipment.
Golden Gardens is just north of the Shilshole Bay Marina in Ballard.
We will start paddling at 9:30 and be back and off the water by 3:30.
Bring water, snacks and lunch with you.
Be prepared for the weather. Dress for immersion. You may want sunscreen, sun glasses, gloves, wind breaker, stocking hat, dry bag, carry bag, etc.
Check weather information especially for wind. Know the tides range for the day. Bring a map of the area. You can print off the part of a chart needed from the NOAA web site.
There is all day parking at the north end of the park and on the other side of the railroad tracks. (see the Seattle park map). Parking near the boat ramp is only two hours.

There is additional cost of renting kayak and/or dry suit from Kayak Academy if you do not own one.
