Meet at Luna Park (on Alki) at 4:00pm.

The full moon is supposed to start rising at 5:53pm. In January, it will rise over the Olympic Mountains to the west.

Prior to the moon rise, we should be able to get some nice sunset photos, provided the weather is nice. Sunset is at 4:40pm.

This field trip will be contingent on the weather - if there are lots of clouds, we won't really be able to see the moon and it would be a waste of time. As the date comes closer, you will be notified if we're a go or not.
