Flatwater Packraft Course Outing: paddle on a lake - Lake Washington: Magnuson Park Swimming Beach
In this first field trip we will paddle packrafts on a lake and practice the Paddling skills listed on the main course page.

Expect to go in and out of the cold lake water many, many times on this day. Immersion protection is required. Renting a dry suit is highly recommended. We will break in the middle of the day for a lunch break and for some dry time. A finish time can not be guaranteed but expect to be out for a full day. We will return upon finishing all of the skills intended to be covered.
We will meet at the Magnuson Beach Swimming Beach just south of the public bathrooms on the grassy area at 9:00 a.m.
Required Equipment
Standard flatwater Packrafting equipment per course overview. If you do not own a packraft, participants will be required to rent one. Please ask if you need help finding a rental shop.
