Basic Whitewater Packrafting Course - Field Trip #3 - Middle Fork Snoqualmie River: Tanner to North Bend

On this field trip the focus will be on river navigation, reading whitewater, and team boating. In addition, we will cover any skills on the course page that have not been covered in the first two field trips.

LOCATION OF THIS FIELD TRIP SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON RIVER FLOW AND FORECAST. 

Details to follow. 

Although our time on the river will be 1/2 day, with the addition of time needed for rigging, de-rigging and shuttle time, plan to be out all day.  The focus will be on the concepts listed below.

You must supply your own packraft, paddle, PFD, helmet, dry suit, waterproof whistle, oversize close-toe river shoes, warm layers, extra dry clothing and dry shoes, snacks.
