Astrophotography for Beginners

Learn how to photograph the night sky using basic camera equipment, including smart phones, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras.

Course dates:  Mon April 21 and Wed April 23.  8:00pm at the program center.

This course spans two sessions and will introduce students to the astronomy and photography concepts that make it possible to get great photos of the night sky. Students will learn how to capture nightscapes, milky way photos, star trails, and deep sky objects with widely accessible amateur equipment. Additionally, the course covers the enhancement of photos with free astrophoto processing software.
