Boot Camp - Union Bay Natural Area
Are you a Seattle Wilderness (off-trail) Navigation Course student wanting to practice your compass skills before you get to the Heybrook field trip? If so then this hands‑on Boot Camp is for you! This is a great opportunity to practice and build confidence measuring and plotting bearings with your map and compass. Because this is a sensitive wetland, groups are limited to 4 within each time bloc, sessions are 2 hours. In order to attend this Boot Camp you need to have first completed activities #1, #2, and #3 of the Off-trail Navigation course.
