This is the 1pm session. We will learn about moss, lichen and liverwort identification using visual keys for common mosses in our area.

Mosses are prevalent and glowing in our forested areas during the winter and fall. We will learn how to identify common mosses in our area and will share a field trip to identify them together.

We will meet at 1pm by the restroom. You will receive your book at this time.

A magnifying loupe of at least 10 power is suggested. Please bring your 10 Essentials and be prepared for moving slowly.  A camera is helpful for taking close up photos of mosses.
