Central Washington is often sunny when it is raining in Seattle. Plus it offers acres of beautiful wildflower meadows, making this an ideal field trip destination to practice identification of plants and birds. Also, many shrubs and at least nine kinds of trees are present.

Specific meeting time and location will be sent to registered participants a few days prior to the trip.  Plan on meeting in the area or trailhead about 9:00 a.m.  When we drove to this trailhead last June, the road conditions were very rough - if conditions are the same, a high clearance vehicle will be necessary.
