Wallace Falls is one of the most iconic waterfall hikes in the Central Cascades, offering a beautiful mix of forest, river, and dramatic viewpoints. We’ll follow the Woody Trail along the Wallace River, passing the Lower and Middle Falls before climbing to the Upper Falls viewpoint. Each viewpoint offers a different angle on the falls, with the Middle Falls overlook providing one of the most impressive waterfall vistas in the region.
The trail is well‑maintained and winds through lush second‑growth forest, mossy boulders, and sections of old railroad grade. Expect a steady climb after the Middle Falls junction as we head toward the upper viewpoint.
We will meet shortly before 8AM at the Wallace Falls Parking Lot, to start our hike at 8AM sharp. Bring enough time before to use the bathrooms and gear up!
