Leader is a birder, photographer, and lake lover who does not tolerate heat well, hence the choice of a lovely shaded trail with a very early start. You'll thank me once you start.
Moving pace will average 2.2-2.5 mph with a swim/lunch break at Ridge Lake for 25-30 minutes. Expect 5 minutes on the hour for bio, snack, photo breaks but otherwise we'll keep moving. Only high winds or smoky conditions will cancel.
Perfect for anyone training specifically for Kaleetan grad hike in September (19 miles/5400').
Tuesdays with Court early morning adventure. Meet at the TH booted and ready for introductions at 5:30 a.m. (yes, dawn) so we can be hiking by 5:45 AM. Early start is to beat the heat and worst of the rush hour traffic going through downtown Seattle.
